Gene was born in Nebraska and raised on
a farm and went to a country school for the first nine years of
education. He played football and lettered three years and was named
All-Conference on both Offense and Defense.
Gene volunteered for the Army serving Honorably with the 101st & 82nd
Airborne Divisions in the late sixties.
After completing two years of college an opportunity arose to purchase
a restaurant/nightclub with his brother. It was during this time that
Gene found his passion for the public.
The business was sold after a very successful run and Gene entered the
Manufacturing Rep field. Some of Gene's clients were Marriott,
Hilton, Disneyland, and MGM Grand to name a few.
Traveling was an extensive part of the business and after 25 years
Gene decided it was time to get off the road. Langenberg & Associates
was formed in 2000.
Gene also has a Real Estate License.
Gene is a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans, 101st Southern
California Chapter of the 101st Airborne Division, American Legion.
Gene recently spearheaded a fundraiser raising over $50,000 to build a
handicap accessible room addition for Spc. Ryan Price.
Ryan Price while serving with the 101st Airborne Division in
Afghanistan suffered the loss of both legs and other severe injuries.
